Welcome to the NYSVS!

Dear Colleagues,

It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to the New York Society for Vascular Surgery.

I would like to take a moment and share with you some of the changes and enhancements that we will be bringing to you this year.

We have updated and modernized our website that now allows you to keep in touch with all Society activities, including meeting updates, connecting with your colleagues and making membership payments easily. For this task I am indebted to Dr. Angela Kokkosis for her time and expertise.

We will continue awarding very successful residents and fellows with research scholarships that are currently offering three awards a year and we will be returning with the Dr. Mike Silane Travel Fellowship.

After Council discussions, we decided to diversify Society support by adding additional industry representatives. They will be joining our current industry supporters whose dedication has made the activities of the Society possible.

Friends, I look forward to sharing with you another exciting and productive year in the life of the New York Society of Vascular Surgery. Save the date for our Spring Meeting, April 18, 2024.
